John Marrs

John Marrs PhotoJohn Marrs was born and raised in Northamptonshire. Beginning his career as a reporter for the Daventry Express aged 18, he went on to work for the Chronicle & Echo and Peterborough Herald & Post newspapers. Eventually, he moved to London and was a journalist for 25 years, interviewing celebrities for newspapers and magazines including News of the World, The Guardian, Sunday Express, OK! Magazine, Total Film and The Independent. His debut novel When You Disappeared was published in 2013 and his sixth, The Passengers, has just been released. He has been translated into twenty-one languages and filming starts this summer for his novel The One, which is to be a ten-part Netflix series.
He now writes full-time from home and lives in Northampton with his husband and their dog.
