Jayne Osborn is an award-winning published poet, well known for her sense of humour which permeates her work, along with serious topics. Her poems have regularly appeared in The Spectator and The Oldie magazines, many anthologies and online journals.
Jayne’s view is in accordance with the late Auberon Waugh, former editor of The Literary Review, who asserted that poetry ‘’must rhyme, scan and make sense’’. OK, it doesn’t have to rhyme… but it’s great when it does – and Jayne’s always does!
Having a particular passion for poetry and precision (not to mention alliteration) Jayne is also a keen amateur magician, the only female member of the Northampton Magicians Club. She enjoys combining the magic of poetry with the mystery of magic tricks, making her talks entertaining …and full of surprises!
