Company Stage Manager – R&D

Sara was not discouraged by her family soon enough and has spent the last 20 years faffing about in the dark as a Stage Manager. Her career began in Panto at Greenwich Theatre, where she regularly had to sew the udders back onto Daisy the cow. Within only couple of years Sara had progressed to touring with Christopher Timothy, an experienced ‘actor vet’ so no further animals were injured. Her career has taken her around the UK, several times, and overseas. Currently as the Company Stage Manager for The Royal and Derngate Theatre she has worked on Our Lady of Kibeho, The Worst Witch and The Lovely Bones. Her role changes
daily according to the needs of the production. She lectures in Stage Management at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
